Hi! I’m Bree.
I am a high school math teacher with a passion for making personal finance content that is accessible to ALL.
On this blog I will share all things personal finance with you that you wish you were taught in school. I’ll answer your questions about how to create and stick to a budget, where you should be saving your money, how credit cards can actually help you when used responsibly, how to get started with investing, and more.
Most importantly, I will always use simple language to make sure the information I post is accessible to EVERYONE, even beginners 🙂
I’m your newest go-to personal finance friend that you’ve been waiting for.
Facts about me:
- In college I majored in Applied Math and earned a minor in Education.
- When I was young, my family did not have a lot of money at all. I feel lucky that my parents instilled the value of saving in me. I still remember saving all the money I was given on my birthdays as a child.
- I am 29 years old and have a net worth of about $190,000. (Remember- I have been saving for a long time!)
- I live in a very high cost of living area and share a 1 bedroom apartment with my boyfriend.
- I teach Algebra 1 and AP Calculus. This past year I helped a group of students start a personal finance club.
